Charis Ammon, born 1992 in Dallas, Texas, lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She received a BFA from Texas State University in 2015 and an MFA from the University of Houston in 2018. Her work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Sargent’s Daughters, Alexander DiJulio, Inman Gallery, and Art League Houston, and in group exhibitions at Fireplace Project, Moody Center for the Arts, and Lawndale Art Center, and is in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
