Demetri Broxton creates mixed media textile works exploring ancestral memory, cultural identity, and African diasporic spirituality. Combining archival photographs, fabrics, and sacred materials, he transforms overlooked histories into acts of remembrance and healing. His work is held by the Smithsonian, the de Young Museum, and other major collections.
