Felipe Suzuki

São Paulo–based painter Felipe Suzuki makes luminous, tranquil oils with the Apelles four-pigment palette. He begins like a still-life painter but works through memory—allusively representational, with kinship to Morandi and attention to Japanese ma (charged intervals).
