Keith Sonnier (1941–2020) was an American artist known for transforming neon, light, and industrial materials into sculpture and installation. Emerging in the 1960s, he challenged traditional ideas of sculpture through works incorporating glass, latex, fabric, video, and incandescent gases. Over six decades, Sonnier explored how light, material, architecture, and technology shape our experience of space.
