Marianne Vitale (b. 1973) is a New York–based contemporary artist known for bold, large-scale sculptures and installations that examine decay, transformation, and the American industrial landscape. Working with wood, steel, and found materials, she reimagines railroad and architectural remnants to question permanence and progress. A School of Visual Arts graduate, she has exhibited internationally, including at the Whitney Biennial and Kunsthalle Wien, transforming industrial relics into meditations on time, history, and resilience.
