Marisol (Marisol Escobar, May 22, 1930–April 30, 2016) was a Venezuelan-American sculptor known for her mixed-media figurative works combining wood, paint, and found objects. Associated with Pop Art, she explored identity, politics, and social roles through stylized, often humorous life-size figures.
