Paul Winstanley (born 1954, Manchester) lives and works in London. His retrospective Paintings 1989–2007 was held at ARTSPACE, Auckland. Solo exhibitions include Tate Britain and Camden Arts Centre, London. Selected group shows include Pallant House Gallery, Chichester (2025); British Museum, London (2024); Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; Kunsthalle Hamburg; and Tate Liverpool. His work is held in major collections including Tate, MoMA, British Museum, and V&A.
