LAUNCH LA, Los Angeles
LAUNCH LA hosts a closing reception and artist-led walk-through for Cindy Craig's Weeping Women and Leigh Salgado's Small Eruptions. The two solo exhibitions honor femininity while examining women's roles and stereotypes in contemporary society through ornate, symbolic, humorous, and sometimes dark paintings and mixed media works.
