Stuart Horodner, director of the University of Kentucky Art Museum, leads a walkthrough and lecture on 'Jack Whitten. The Numinous' at Hauser & Wirth's Downtown Los Angeles gallery. The exhibition charts the pivotal period after a 1980 house fire, including Whitten's Soulspace paintings, circular acrylic reliefs, and Site paintings cast from urban textures. Horodner curated 'Jack Whitten: Memorial Paintings' in 2008.
