Figuring Space is a shared evening of new and in-process movement work by four LA-based artists, AMMA, Gurmukhi Desai Bevli, jeremy de'jon guyton, and Mamie Green/ VOLTA, responding to the architecture and context of MOCA's WAREHOUSE at The Geffen Contemporary. Trained in contemporary dance and choreography, the artists experiment, improvise, and explore the building's industrial legacy as a former police car storage facility turned art museum. The program continues MOCA's ongoing presentation of site-specific movement and sound-based work created in dialogue with the building.
