Spencer Finch: One Hundred Famous Views of New York City (After Hiroshige) presents four installations using watercolor, stained glass, LEDs, and concrete. Drawing on decades of engagement with Japan, Finch overlays Hiroshige’s Edo views with contemporary New York, creating a cross-cultural dialogue. Works include watercolors mapping Edo to NYC, light-based Haiku sculptures, a stained glass moonlight piece, and a stone-inspired installation, all probing perception and nature.
