3 New Artists introduces work by Sarah Sagarin, Tim Saternow, and Mark Willie. Sagarin creates large surreal oil paintings through intuitive mark making and invented imagery. Saternow renders quiet New York street scenes in watercolor. Willie develops small interpretive landscapes through plein air studies, later evolving them in the studio into abstractions, montages, and lithographic experiments.
