LaKela Brown: A Harvest at 56 HENRY presents sculptural works that interrogate how material culture reflects systems of value, labor, and care within Black communities. Using casting as transformation, Brown reconfigures everyday objects—coins, leaves, pig heads, apples—into meditations on survival, inequity, and resilience. The exhibition reckons with inherited histories while envisioning new forms of accountability and collective endurance.
