Sarah Anne Johnson’s second solo exhibition at Yossi Milo, A Mountain and a Forest, explores nature through perception and sensation. The show includes two new series: Cedar Forest, which expands on her Woodland series with vibrant, altered photos of cedar forests, and Mountain, a series of sculptural photographs from a hiking trip in Jasper National Park. Johnson’s work reflects connections between humans and nature, blending digital manipulation, oil paint, and texture to convey emotional resonance and reverence for the wilderness.
