A Tribute to André Emmerich honors the postwar dealer who is widely regarded as the first mega-dealer of the modern era. The exhibition brings together 30 works by 20 artists in Emmerich’s gallery program, presenting the breadth of his vision in a dense, maximalist hang across painting, sculpture, and works on paper. Includes works by Anne Truitt, Al Held, Jules Olitski, Pat Lipsky, Friedel Dzubas, Wolfgang Hollegha, Jack Tworkov, and Hans Hofmann.
