Abstract Bodies presents Hannah Wilke’s ceramic sculptures and rarely seen works on paper, tracing her exploration of feminism, sexuality, and the female body. Wilke used her own body as art, creating yonic ceramic forms and large-scale watercolor self-portraits, including the “B.C. Series” and “Intra-Venus” works, documenting life, illness, and mortality. The exhibition highlights her bold, enduring engagement with desire, vulnerability, and artistic innovation.
