Translator’s Notes is a solo presentation of moving image works by Africanus Okokon featuring three films that engage archival material, found footage, and material experimentation. The works examine translation, secrecy, authorship, and historical transmission, addressing Indigenous knowledge systems, colonial extraction, and diasporic memory through fragmented, non-linear narrative structures.
