Known for transforming language into visual form, Dwyer draws from pop culture and mass media to create paintings, sculptures, and installations that reinterpret everyday phrases. From 1980s word-objects to recent screen-inspired pieces, her work challenges how we read and perceive language by giving physical presence to words and disrupting their familiar meanings.
