Ancestral Visions at OMCA features new paintings by Chelsea Ryoko Wong inspired by dresses once worn by six 20th-century Chinese American women. Drawing from real and imagined scenes, Wong’s vibrant works connect fashion to memory, identity, and cultural legacy. Alongside the paintings, visitors will see the garments that sparked them, inviting reflection on how clothing carries meaning across time and expresses personal and collective history.
