Anchor Points brings together two artists who understand photography as a recursive space where physical action and observation converge. Alex Delapena and Patrick Gookin use the camera to probe what remains of the medium’s descriptive power when gesture becomes material and material becomes subject.
Their work creates a dialogue between object and translation, fabrication and distortion, clarity and doubt. The images appear as notes rather than resolutions; tracing something coherent within systems built to fail. Anchor Points hangs in the balance of what gives and what holds, revealing forms that insist on being seen.
