“&” is an exhibition of thesis work by 11 senior students in the BFA Visual and Critical Studies program at the School of Visual Arts. Drawing on the ampersand as a symbol of conjunction, the exhibition considers collaboration, exchange, and relational meaning. The works emphasize connection over autonomy, positioning ideas and materials as mutually dependent rather than singular.
