Animal Triste is Cindy Ji Hye Kim’s third solo with the gallery. Drawing from medieval agrarian calendars, Kim reimagines seasonal rituals—from courtship to harvest—through paintings marked by her signature grisaille. These works explore cycles of nature, collective experience, and ancient systems of time, linking bodily gesture with the rhythms of the land and challenging the separation between self and environment.
