Slip House presents the New York debut of Chicago painter Anne Hayden Stevens. Her works weave atmosphere and structure, where small figures journey through vast color fields. Engaging both Western modernism and Chinese landscape traditions, Stevens explores scale, narrative, and abstraction. Upstairs, oil works on paper and intimate scenes probe solitude, motherhood, and introspection, expanding her emotional and visual geographies.
