Wen Liu: Antidote features new sculptures that explore transformation, balance, and belonging. The works, made from epoxy clay, resin, and natural materials, are inspired by the molting process of reptiles and the female skeletal system. Encased herbs represent traditional Chinese medicine’s focus on balance and healing. Liu also draws on religious architecture and calligraphy, using sculptures to explore communication, displacement, and the emotional journey of growth and healing.
