parrasch heijnen presents Anne Appleby: Array, the artist’s second solo exhibition with the gallery. Drawing from her Ojibwe heritage and years of study with Indigenous mentors, Appleby creates multi-panel color field paintings rooted in close observation of nature. Built from dozens of layered pigments, her works reflect cycles of growth and decay. With meditative attention to seasonal change and light, Appleby captures fleeting moments and the evolving energy of the natural world.
