AS IT IS is a group exhibition featuring seven photographers: Rose Marie Cromwell, Janet Delaney, Christine Elfman, Mona Kuhn, Klea McKenna, Brea Souders, and Giorgia Valli. Spanning documentary, fine art, and experimental approaches, their practices illuminate the photographic medium from multiple angles: from Cromwell's examination of globalization's effects on community, to Delaney's records of cities in transition, McKenna's cameraless image-making, and Kuhn's figurative explorations of the body. Together they consider perception, ephemerality, and what photography reveals about the world.
