An Unfolding of Moments brings together Axelle Destaing, Gail Flanery, and Hyunju Kim around the human connection to time's passage. Destaing's painterly camera movements inhabit the in-between where one second dissolves into the next, registering presence through its own fading. Flanery's highly abstracted prints draw from nature — the great timekeeper — retaining a horizon line that affirms our attachment to the world. Kim constructs layers of thread sewn onto stockings in response to Chagall's portrait of his brother, her stitching a form of worship where faith, memory, and emotional intimacy become visible. Together the works invite slowness, looking, and contemplation.
