This exhibition brings together works by Ayla Tavares and Beatrice Modisett that approach time through contrasting material processes. Modisett presents wall-based works made from salvaged campfire debris and charcoal marks, shaped by combustion and aftermath. Tavares shows small ceramic reliefs with drawn surfaces that evoke excavation, touch, and slow formation. Together, the works consider making as an act of preservation amid impermanence.
