Ayin Es work explores existentialism, surreal abstraction, and absurdity. Working across drawing, watercolor, oil, collage, installation, and book arts, they favor introspection and stream-of-consciousness processes informed by philosophy and psychology. Their artist’s books are held by the Getty, Brooklyn Museum, and NMWA. Es was a 2024 New American Paintings winner and a Pollock-Krasner Fellowship recipient.
