Beachwood presents new monoprints by Rives Granade made through an improvisational, physically demanding process using watercolor, plexiglass, and soaked paper. Images emerge through chance, pressure, and reactivation, leaving ghostly residues within the paper’s fibers. Rooted in Beachwood Canyon, the works draw from landscape, animals, illness, loss, and renewal, moving between abstraction and figuration to form layered, shifting fields of meaning.
