The exhibition features bean portraits of Japanese baseball players, crop circles, and curiosities that locate the intersection of Mexican and Japanese cultural influence in California history. A native San Diegan making multimedia work since the 1980s, Alexander finds unexpected common ground in the most humble of materials.
