Kapow presents Stephen DiRado’s Bell Pond—prints from the photographer’s 1983 season at a Worcester, Massachusetts swimming pond. Nearly every afternoon until sunset, DiRado documented the inner-city park’s community, amassing some 1,000 frames that launched his documentary career. With a forthcoming TBW Books monograph, the series holds summer light, public leisure, and neighborhood presence in quiet clarity.
