Beyond the Bedrock presents works by Yasmeen Abdallah, Melinda Kiefer Santiago, and Katrina Slavik exploring urban soils and our interaction with them. Abdallah draws on archaeology and tribal practices, Santiago investigates contamination and Anthropocene legacies through soil and pigments, and Slavik transforms textiles to map ecological and social connections.
