Noelle Lorraine Williams’ *Black Power! 19th Century* explores the lives and resistance of Black women under colonialism and slavery. Drawing on archival research, including freedom seeker advertisements, Williams combines installation, performance, collage, historical imagery, and craft materials to recover overlooked stories of everyday resistance, freedom-making, and Black women’s agency.
