Black Spaces: Reclaim & Remain explores the intertwined histories of displacement and resistance within Black communities in Oakland and the East Bay. Featuring new work by artist Adrian Burrell, architect June Grant, and the Archive of Urban Futures with Moms 4 Housing, the exhibition draws on local archives and OMCA’s collection. It reflects on how communities reimagine home and belonging in the face of erasure and urban renewal.
