Auxier Kline presents Blending In, a solo exhibition of new paintings by Sarah Davidson. Drawing from nature, Davidson’s work dissolves boundaries between self and environment through a queer ecological perspective. Combining observational drawing with biomorphic abstraction, the paintings shift between figuration and transformation. Influenced by their experience as a wilderness guide, Davidson explores perception, identity, and metamorphosis, reflecting on their own gender transition and artistic inquiry.
