Wilding Cran Gallery presents Blobs and Bod, a sculptural series by Polly Borland that extends her long-standing investigation of the human body as a site of vulnerability and transformation. Using foam, nylon, and rubber bands to distort live models before scanning and casting them, Borland creates works that oscillate between playful and unsettling. At the center stands BOD, a towering aluminum figure surrounded by resin BLOB forms, together evoking metamorphosis, ambiguity, and the fluidity of identity.
