Blue Distance presents new abstract paintings by Heather Day. Drawing on her experiences in the Mojave Desert, Day translates memory, sensation, and landscape into layered compositions of color and form. Using a cut and stitch process, she assembles painted fragments into works that emphasize movement, light, and the passage of time.
