果てしない (Boundless) presents paintings by Japanese artist Yu Kobayashi, made on the ground, unstretched, at her seaside studio in Shizuoka across from Mount Fuji. Kobayashi's daily practice—ocean swimming, trampolining, growing her own food—feeds directly into her work. Moving as she would in the sea, she uses her entire body to produce sweeping gestures that extend beyond the canvas edge. The paintings are a love letter to our shared Pacific Ocean and the first blooms of springtime.
