Nancy Shaver: Bus Stop centers on a 49-foot wall of colorful Blockers—fabric-wrapped wood sculptures arranged like a patchwork crowd. Imagined as strangers waiting together, the installation highlights individuality within a collective. Shaver’s cubic forms allow endless combinations of color and texture, encouraging slow looking and attention to relationships among parts. The show also features her Box sculptures and honors collaborator John Jackson.
