Official Welcome presents Gathering, Cameron Harvey’s third Los Angeles solo exhibition. Harvey develops an embodied abstract language by moving fluid paint across unstretched canvas, creating surfaces that echo the continuity of a Möbius strip. Inspired by daily walks in Los Angeles, her new works draw on collected plant matter, a red and green palette, and scalloped edges that mirror the gallery’s architecture. Large bilateral canvases and ink drawings made from local plants explore repetition, symmetry, and transformation.
