Marcos Siqueira’s paintings begin with sustained observation of everyday life and the landscape of Brazil’s Serra do Cipó. Using earth pigments gathered from the region, he transforms forests, rivers, light, and human figures into dreamlike scenes where memory and imagination reshape what he sees. The works blur the boundaries between landscape and invention, observation and recollection.
