Leah Dixon
Leah Dixon presents a long term performance centered on the construction of an imagined government building inside the gallery. Working with building materials in real time, Dixon builds and reconfigures a monumental structure that references civic and mythic architecture. The work emphasizes process, physical presence, and change, treating monument making as an unstable system shaped by collective belief, repair, and continual transformation.
