This exhibition presents Asher Liftin’s Cat’s Cradle, a body of works on paper organized into suites that pair original drawings with near-identical printed replicas. Using still life imagery disrupted through grids and tactile distortions, the project examines perception, materiality, and the difficulty of distinguishing handmade marks from mechanical reproduction. The installation foregrounds the artwork as both image and object within a system of meaning.
