*Catching Waves: Surfing in Bolinas Since 1909* traces more than a century of local surf and skate culture, from the earliest known photograph of surfing in Bolinas to Buzz Besozzi’s influential 1960s surfboard and skateboard designs. The exhibition celebrates the surfers, makers, artists, elders, and young people who shaped and sustained this distinctive coastal community.
