Celebrating the Martha Graham Dance Company centennial, this exhibition presents new paintings by Chino Amobi and Aaron Curry alongside live workshops by Graham dancers and the release of Amobi’s album K-Pop Airport Music for Black Folk. Grounded in Graham’s principle of contraction and release, the project links dance, sound, and painting through improvisation and embodied mark-making, dissolving boundaries between studio and stage.
