City Within is the first US solo exhibition by Berlin-based artist Paul Hutchinson, curated by Shem Jacobs and Leo Yuan. Spanning a decade of photographs, writings, and moving-image works, it reflects on the relationship between the city and inner life. Hutchinson’s images and texts draw from Berlin’s Schöneberg district, tracing class, belonging, and emotion through overlooked urban details and everyday gestures.
