James Cohan presents the first New York solo exhibition of Claudia Alarcón & Silät, a collective of women weavers from the Wichí communities of northern Argentina. Featuring works made with chaguar fiber, the show highlights weaving as a cultural, economic, and spiritual practice passed through generations. Centerpieces include A chorus of yicas, an installation of 100 woven bags, and intricate works by Alarcón that honor ancestral techniques and affirm Indigenous presence in global art.
