David Zwirner presents Yu Nishimura’s first U.S. solo exhibition, featuring paintings and works on paper inspired by his hometown of Yokodai. Drawing from street photography, anime, and memory, Nishimura creates layered compositions that merge past and present. His work captures fleeting moments through soft forms and shifting colors, offering a contemplative study of time, place, and identity.
