Céleste Boursier-Mougenot: clinamen

Park Avenue Armory New York · Uptown
Exhibition on view: Jun 10, 2026 - Aug 9, 2026

The largest iteration to date of Céleste Boursier-Mougenot's ongoing aquatic and musical installation fills the Wade Thompson Drill Hall with circular basins of water in which ceramic bowls float and gently collide to produce melodious chiming sounds. The title refers to the random motion of atoms, resonating with the work's inevitably changing and unpredictable nature.
